For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Children With Cancer UK wanted to highlight the impact of cancer on children with a digital OOH campaign.
We developed an application that would encourage members of the public to stop and interact with the campaign. Participants were asked to enter their first name into a web address on their mobile phone. They were then able to shake their device to ring the bell on the screen and trigger a personalised thank you message from a child with cancer. The application also encouraged members of the public to text ‘bell’ to a make a donation to the charity.
The campaign was delivered on Monday 17th September 2018 at Westfield’s London shopping centre. It received over 170 submissions from the public.
