Four New Gongs for GV at The Love Content Awards May 30, 2012 | Awards

    Grand Visual scooped four new gongs at this year’s Love Content Awards which aim to celebrate the very best in digital out-of-home creativity. Presented on Wednesday 16th May at Screen Media Expo 2012, Earls Court, London, Grand Visual came away with Awards for Best Branded Content Execution, Best Mobile Interactivity, Best use of the Medium and Best OOH Campaign.

    Pennies for Life for the Microloan Foundation, beat numerous entries to win in 2 separate categories – Best Branded Content Campaign and Best Mobile Interactivity. The campaign ran as a live donation billboard on Ocean Outdoor’s Ocean Westfield London poster site.

    Nike #Makeitcount, an inspirational UGC campaign by Wieden+Kennedy and AKQA- won Best Use of a Digital Medium. The campaign allowed Nike Town shoppers to share their sports related pledges for 2012 and star in the ad itself on screens across Westfield Stratford City mall. Photos and copy from the participants was uploaded instantly via Grand Visual’s OpenLoop platform.

    Finally, the ITV Rugby World Cup Campaign won ‘Best Digital Out of Home Campaign’ for its tactical outdoor campaign that integrated real-time match scores and commentary across online and outdoor platforms. Created by BBH, the campaign kept fans up to date on England’s progress during the Rugby World Cup with match statistics delivered via Grand Visual’s OpenLoop platform.
