1. Brief

Waitrose wanted to launch a dynamic digital OOH campaign just in time for Christmas. The campaign would promote the variety of deals the store had on festive favourites such as chocolates, champagne and party food.

2. Response

Created by Adam&EveDDB and produced by Grand Visual, the campaign featured the brand’s latest deals alongside appetising product shots. 

For example, campaign creative for a deal on chocolate boxes featured an image of festive truffles and caramels along with the announcement that its “½ price on chocolate boxes today only.” The campaign’s geo-targeted play-out would then direct shoppers to their closest Waitrose store.

3. Results

With planning and booking by MGOMD & Talon, the creative delivery and geo-targeted play-out were managed through OpenLoop. OpenLoop updated the campaign with promotions and dynamically inserted store locations. It also enabled the campaign to be updated at a national and local level when stocks ran low at nearby stores.

The campaign ran from 30th November till 15th December 2017.
