Netflix has once again blurred the lines between fiction and reality with a bold marketing stunt that’s got everyone talking.
To promote their latest release, The Diamond Heist, Netflix unveiled a jaw-dropping billboard along Clapham High Street in London. But this wasn’t your average ad. Mounted within the display was a genuine 9-carat diamond, showcased in a specially lit glass case. With CCTV cameras and two on-site security guards, the setup looked more like a scene from the show than a typical promo.
And in true Diamond Heist style, things took a twist of their own…
The buzz created by the billboard helped catapult The Diamond Heist straight to the top of Netflix’s charts, claiming the #1 spot on the most-watched list.
