Create a branded interactive experience for a one-off event in Times Square, in order to showcase Disney Parks experiences. Build an experience worthy of a social film to amplify the experience beyond the event itself.
We developed an augmented reality experience that allowed guests to have a virtual interaction with their favourite Disney character. Our augmented reality system allowed us to display LIVE Disney Character Interactions virtually with the public on the ground.
Thousands of people were able to experience the event live in Times Square. In addition, a film of the event has been viewed over 10 million times on Disney’s website.
The event also attracted a TV audience, with the Good Morning America team live broadcasting from the event for ten minutes, giving an additional 10 million viewers coast to coast.
