eBay wanted to bring colourful shopping inspiration to the streets of the UK with a dynamic digital OOH campaign, that used real-time data to bring their campaign to life in time for spring.
The campaign tapped into activities ritually undertaken at the start of the spring season, eBay encouraged passers-by to “shop like nobody else” and to “make springtime spectacular.”
Using colourful product offerings, the creative was matched to real-time Met Office data to promote eBay’s online retailer’s product ranges, with appropriate offers based on the current weather conditions. The digital OOH creative supported a multi-channel campaign which encouraged shoppers to break away from “beige”.
The digital OOH campaign ran on screens across the UK from 26 March to 8 April 2018.
The campaign was managed and delivered through OpenLoop and distributed to multiple screen formats and networks across the UK.
