Disney Junior Asia converted a bus shelter on the busy streets of Singapore in order to create an Augmented Reality stunt to surprise and delight passers-by. Footage captured on the day was used to create a social video which further amplified the experience.
Grand Visual transformed the bus shelter overnight installing an Augmented Reality system which gave the illusion of the road ahead. But as people watched, a series of beloved Disney Junior characters appeared on the street in front of them.
The footage from the live two-day Augmented Reality event has been shared on Disney’s online and social media channels. We know from our own research that fun, interactive brand experiences – or ‘Disney Junior Magical Moments’ – create longer lasting and more accessible memories.
