Ahead of the release of Warners Bros highly anticipated film, The Lego Batman Movie, Grand Visual produced an extensive Digital Out of Home campaign delivered to 30 countries.
In this the spin-off of The Lego Movie, Lego Batman attempts to overcome his greatest fear in order to save Gotham City from The Joker’s hostile takeover. Starring comedic actors Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson & Ralph Fiennes the film opened in theatres on February 10, 2017.
To support such a major international movie release Grand Visual produced a creative toolkit for Warners Bros international markets which featured 18 creative variations – including multi-panel, ultra landscape and ultra portrait options, characters and trailers. Each of the 30 markets was able to select their creative from the toolkit for reversioning with relevant local information.
The international delivery included a number of Grand Visual firsts, our first delivery for Greece and our first delivery for some brand new digital formats including Exterion’s new 12 screen multi-panel digiwall in Dublin’s Connolly Station.
The production for the Lego Batman Movie release is our 2nd biggest movie project to date, hot on the heels of our work for ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.’ It’s great to see brands like Warner Bros embrace Digital OOH embracing the creative opportunities the medium provides.
