How did we DOOH it? Rockstar Energy
Rockstar Energy Drink went all out this summer with their partnership with Live Nation at a selection of their Summer festivals. Entering the festival scene with so many things to see and do, they knew they wanted to make a splash! This partnership with Live Nation marks the start of a shared enthusiasm for bringing fans together over their passion for music. The campaign was tailored to cater to the preferences of the Gen Z demographic, deeply entrenched in music culture and festival experiences.
Starting at Parklife, this partnership made its way across all 6 festivals. Enter Grand Visual, where we helped Rockstar create 2 show-stopping activations, the first at TRNSMT Festival with an iconic giant star Glambot and on to Leeds Festival, where we continued the Glambot activation and added branded trolleys to the mix!
Let’s dive into the Glambot. This activation featured a giant Rockstar star set atop an elevated platform where festival goers were given the opportunity to strike a pose in front of a Glambot camera. Additional lighting and sparkles added a bit of extra festival glam and the chance to get that perfect festival snap.
The ‘Glambot’ camera captured a 30-second slow-motion video of the moment and better yet, the festival attendees can access their video via a share station for a great keepsake and the perfect way to bring the campaign online by providing a shareable asset!
But it didn’t stop there…
Rockstar took things a step further at Leeds Festival. We ran two brilliant activations, a re-run of the ever-popular Glambot as well as some bespoke Rockstar branded luggage trolleys, helping people arrive at the festival in style! Homing into the challenge of carrying all your camping equipment and belongings into a festival, Rockstar wanted to help out and make things a bit easier by providing trolleys for transporting your belongings.
Upon arrival at the festival, attendees were greeted by a fleet of Rockstar trolleys to carry their stuff through to their camping spot! Before returning them to a drop-off zone, I know what you’re thinking… how did you encourage them to return the trolleys? – Well, upon return, they would be entered into a draw, and the winners would receive two free tickets to the festival next year! But don’t worry… all trolleys were fitted with a tracking device so we could ensure safe return!
The activation included 55 luggage trolleys, with 5 variations of design for each Rockstar flavour and feather flags.
In addition to the standard luggage trolleys, three VIP trolleys were designed for the Rockstar-affiliated influencers attending the festivals.
These trolleys were equipped with:

✨ Bluetooth speakers – Influencers to provide their own music and device to connect to speakers
✨ Rockstar Festival ‘Survival Kits’ containing 4-5 Rockstar-branded festival essentials
