SVP, Creative Strategist

Role Description

THE ROLE_

We are seeking an SVP of Creative Strategy to lead our New York office. This role will be instrumental in driving creative excellence, business growth, and expanding Grand Visual’s footprint in the US and Canada. Reporting to both Grand Visual’s Managing Partner and Talon NA CEO, the SVP will oversee creative strategy, foster key client relationships to drive revenue through organic growth and new business and lead a team to deliver innovative, high-impact OOH campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITITES AND RELATIONSHIPS_

Creative Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and inspire the US creative team, setting the strategic direction for creative OOH campaigns and ensuring all creative work meets the highest standards.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies that align with clients’ business goals and drive measurable success.
  • Collaborate with the UK and global teams to deliver cohesive and scalable creative strategies that are impactful and relevant across markets.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as an escalation point for clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and delivering client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the GV client service and Talon planning team to present and sell creative ideas that maximize client investment and media value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, media owners, and external partners to enhance creative opportunities.

Business Development & Growth

  • Drive the growth of Grand Visual in the US and Canada by identifying and securing new business opportunities across industries.
  • Collaborate with the Talon US team to expand our market presence and elevate the Grand Visual brand in North America.
  • Ensure financial targets are met through strategic leadership, business acquisition, and delivering profitable creative solutions.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the US creative team, ensuring a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring seamless integration with UK and global teams to maintain consistency in creative output.

Innovative OOH Solutions

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the OOH landscape to push boundaries and deliver cutting-edge creative solutions, including AR, digital, and experiential.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to implement new technologies and media solutions in creative projects.

International Expansion

  • Support Grand Visual’s strategy by driving efforts to expand our international offering, with a focus on delivering creative excellence in new and emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent and innovative creative strategies that resonate on a global scale.

WORKING HABITS AND CORE SKILLS_

  • 10+ years of creative strategy experience in OOH or related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading creative teams and delivering high-impact, innovative OOH or experiential campaigns.
  • Strong business development and client management skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships and drive growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of the US OOH landscape and a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on team growth and development.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of delivering innovative, data-driven solutions across all OOH platforms.
  • Experience working within a global framework and collaborating with international teams.
